XXLART Featured Artist | Ambushe

"The human race goes to extreme lengths to construct metropolitan environments symmetrically. A grand illusion of magnificent proportions to harbor the inherent chaos of city life. Entropy will consume the structural order over time, but for now, the architecture is a work of art. I want to frame the city's perfect angles. This is my pursuit of symmetry"   Ambushe

What inspires you to be a photographer?

An obsession with freezing moments from the world around me.

What or who are some of your motivators, if any?

The Internet's creative community in general and unreal amounts of coffee. I have drawn a lot of inspiration from Timothy McGurr & Rut Blees Luxemburg.

Is there anything specific you find yourself taking photographs of often?

Los Angeles, it's structures, and infrastructure.

What are some of your career goals, being in the field of photography?

I would love to have my photographs used as album covers by musicians I admire.

How often do you find yourself behind the camera?

Every night.

Is there any challenges you face being a photographer in a competitive industry?

It's no secret that technology has allowed the Internet to become competitive and saturated across all creative mediums. It can be a challenge finding an audience and maintaining it's attention amongst the never ending supply of new noise. On the flip side, having an unlimited stream of creative inspiration is a huge advantage.

What are some of your plans for the future, career wise?

The idea is to create and share, across multiple mediums. Right now I'm focused on my photography, but I plan to release music and cinematography projects in the future.
